Charter Spectrum build out update 8/10/2023

1They are hoping to finish the lines by the end of September or October in Sayner.  Star Lake will not be until next year.(2024)

2.  Once they are done laying the "backbone" a mailing will go out to residents describing their service.  Lakeland Cable will be sending a letter to their current subscribers as well.

3.  If you ask to have the fiber brought to your home during this initial phase, fiber install will not cost anything no matter how long your driveway is.

4.  Homeowners should have a plan as to where they would like the cabling brought into their home.

5.  Maximum internet speed is 1 gig

6.  They will be offering internet, TV, and phone.

7. You will need internet to get TV as it is a streaming app.  You would also need a smart TV (or something similar to a Firestick or Roku for TVs that are not "smart.").

8.  Their phone plan is IP based and they are currently working with Verizon.

9.  Depending on weather, once Sayner is completed, they will head toward County Roads N & G.

This is all of the information that is available at this point.  Again, they do not want to give programming (cost) information until they are certain that the backbone is completed without incidents.
